Breakfast is nice - a very large buffet with many offering - but very expensive...18 euros/person. One of the two days we ate breakfast at the hotel the staff was very overwhelmed by the number of guests. They couldn't keep up with filling the coffee urns, coffee cups, glassware and plates were unavailable and we waited more that 5 minutes for them to restock. We waited more than 30 minutes for our cooked egg order that was delivered only after we requested it a second time. We opted to eat at the hotel for convenience due to time constraints with our convention. It was a poor choice. The location was good for the Convention Center...about a 7 minute walk. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating - even providing a little assist with an Easter egg hunt for our 6 year old! The major drawback was the pool/gym. It seems the hotel rents the space out for a local business to give swimming lessons and for locals to use the gym/pool/sauna facilities. One of the saunas was out of order. Our 6 year old is a prolific swimmer and the beautiful pictures of the pool were a big draw for us. They were available but less appealing than the hotel website indicated.

Check- in was easy, reception staff very pleasant nice aroma in reception, well appointed room with comfy double & single bed.. very clean.. used the pool a few times, friendly staff and good facilities but could do with larger towels, barely covered our bits🙈 ate breakfast on 2 mornings, great selection of meats, cheeses, granola, fresh fruit, smoothies as well as cooked breakfast options, there was a separate Gluten/ dairy free food station ,again staff very pleasant. We had a lovely lunch in the bar one day. We walked everywhere that weekend but I believe that public transport options were near enough ..taxi from Temple Bar area was 16 eu, walked it in about 20mins..right across the road from Bord Gais Theatre so if in town for a show I would definitely recommend..it was on the pricey end but there were many concerts on that weekend, one of which we attended, so that's to be expected I guess!

Well maintained property, clean, tidy with a warm decor, great art, and photos of the city. The friendly staff were welcoming and very helpful at all times. Great selection for the buffet breakfast. We added it to our booking at check-in for a reduced rate. Good size pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym. Great security, you need your room card to access both buildings and in the lifts to access your floor, for 2 female, solo guests this made us feel safe when getting back to the hotel at night. Great location in the docklands, mins from the Board Gáis Theatre, 3 arena, Samuel Beckett bridge, Ferryman pub, and Financial District. 10 mins walk to O'Connell Street, less than 20 mins walk to Trinty College, Grafton street, Stephen's Green and Temple Bar district, nice scenic walk of the city. Overall really pleasant stay ,would highly recommend!

I found since renovation s are going on in the hotel the staff and service has become a lot friendlier and more accommodating, it seems to me that staff are way more happier and accommodating to your needs and wants which is lovely from a customer's perspective. Myself and my partner were at the hotel for the Ireland and england rugby game and I think it lack alot of personality with staff and was less friendly and accommodating but this visit I felt a huge shift in the running of the hotel and how staff approach you with friendlyness and chat . Thank you to reception staff bar staff and the irish lady we met in the breakfast room, plus the events manager who helped me with my bags to the car 🙏 we had a lovely stay thanks to you all , your all doing a great job blessings and gratitude to you.

We were not told before hand but there were considerable construction works happening on the hotel and our room was the closest to the site so it was incredibly loud and started mainly at 7am but even a few times the noise started before which was not very enjoyable and every time we opened a window it would be extremely loud so we could only deal with them being open for 10 minutes. Also housekeeping knocked on our room to come in and clean at 8:30am and we I had only just gotten out of the shower but they didn’t understand why we didn’t want them in the room to clean and from then we had to put up the do not disturb sign as they came around too early every morning.
